His father was a judge and his mother was a housewife. He attended primary, secondary and high school in Gemlik. He completed his university education at Marmara University Faculty of Business Administration. He started his business life by continuing his grandfather’s hardware business ,which started at Adapazarı, with his brother Bülent in Istanbul.He did the right things at the right time with his sharp mind and vast foresight. Thanks to his company, he quickly climbed the ladder of success with the import of forest and garden machinery and smart real estate investments. He made Çullas Group, which bears his surname, one of Turkey's distinguished groups in a short time. Meanwhile, he got acquainted with perlite mining through a dealer. This sector, which is completely in the hands of foreigners, attracted his attention.

Received the operating rights of 10 perlite fields across Turkey. About 18 years ago, he built Turkey's fully automated perlite crushing-screening and expansion plant in Bergama. Levent Çullas, Chairman of the Board of Çullas Group, started to export and produce quality and durable insulation products for the building materials sector with the brand 'Ekokat'. At the same time , Levent Çullas is proud of earning foreign currency to our country by selling processed products today , where the necessity of optimum use of energy gains importance all over the world .
