Bergama Madencilik Insaat Makine Perlit Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. was established in 2004 and located in İzmir – Bergama. The facility built on an area of ​​34.000 m2 with a closed area of ​​10.000 m2,has an annual perlite processing capacity of 120.000 tons.

Bergama Madencilik owns a total of 7 perlite mines with operating licenses in Turkey.These mines located in İzmir, Manisa, Çanakkale and Ankara. The total area is approximately 5300 hectares.

The company's business process is carried out in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 standards.

The packaging of the product is done by our well-trained employees. While packaging, we ensure that the humidity of the product is not higher than our standards.

Until the products are loaded; classified, weighed and stored in our warehouses away from dirt.

Standard packages are (1200-1250 kgs max.) bigbags, (20-25 kgs) pp sacks and (25 kgs) paper bags.  

Products are placed on wooden pallets before being loaded into containers.          

Our quality control technicians work to keep the production quality and standard at the highest level by regularly performing sieve analysis and other related tests in accordance with the standards set by the Perlite Institute and ASTM.

Bergama Madencilik continues its R&D activities in order to turn perlite into an industrial mineral with very high added value by processing it with various modern processes.

Perlite produced by Bergama Madencilik is used in construction, filtration, casting, agriculture and cryogenic insulation industries generally.
