CRYOGENIC PERLITE
Cryogenic is the name given to cold temperatures below -100 degrees. Cryogenic tanks are produced to transport and store gases in liquid phase below -100 degrees. Isolation is very important so that liquid gases do not pass into the gas phase .
Liquefied petroleum gases (LPG)
liquefied natural gases (LNG)
Liquid nitrogen and ammonia
Liquid progan , ethane and methane
liquid oxygen
Liquid noble gases, propellants , refrigerants etc. are examples of these.
THERMAL INSULATION OF CRYOGENIC TANKS
Perlite is used to maintain the liquefaction temperature of all gases liquefied at low temperatures (up to –270 °C) in double-walled tanks. Perlite is freely filled between the double walls of the tank at atmospheric pressure or under vacuum.
THERMAL INSULATION OF DIFFERENT OVENS AND SYSTEMS
Perlite is used to prevent heat exchange (heat loss) with the external environment in furnaces whose working environment is at high temperatures. Free filling is done on the outer surface of the oven (between the double walls). Expanded Perlite is used in all such applications and Industrial Tank production applications.
